{"id":123,"date":"2013-11-20T18:15:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-20T18:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/annaogbrian.dk\/wordpress\/2013\/11\/hua-hin-thailand\/"},"modified":"2021-07-01T18:16:02","modified_gmt":"2021-07-01T17:16:02","slug":"hua-hin-thailand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/livelovelaugh.dk\/wordpress\/2013\/11\/hua-hin-thailand\/","title":{"rendered":"Hua Hin (Thailand)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We spent a week at the gorgeous Anantara Hua Hin Resort &amp; Spa, situated just about 5 kms. from Hua Hin city centre.<br \/>\nYou can read more about this amazing hotel here;&nbsp;http:\/\/annaogbrian.blogspot.dk\/2013\/11\/anantara-hua-hin-resort-and-spa.html<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-SO8bHCCi8r0\/Uoz5jmFkc6I\/AAAAAAAAAdI\/8v3pNlK-7Yk\/s1600\/IMG_1731.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/livelovelaugh.dk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/IMG_1731-1.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Hua Hin is an old royal town and has grown quite big during the years.<br \/>\nThe good thing about Hua Hin is that it&#8217;s situated a relatively short distance from Bangkok, only about 3 hrs by road (traffic depending).<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-dUwsv4zk4nM\/Uoz4SzvLDyI\/AAAAAAAAAc0\/zq8Gy4amC-Y\/s1600\/P1020151.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/livelovelaugh.dk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1020151-1.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>It has a number of sights that should not be missed and I can recommend a visit to the local railway station, which is about 100 years old and beautifully built.<br \/>\nThe old nearby Railway hotel (Centara Grand hotel) has a nice colonial ambience.<br \/>\nThe Royal palace can also be visited but unfortunately we missed this as it was closed the day we had planned our visit.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a Night Market as well that opens around 6 pm every evening and here you can find food markets as well as the typical Thai tourist market.<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s a shopping mall called Market Village just south of town, which is good.<br \/>\nIf you want to buy gold and\/or diamonds, we can highly recommend Saphira jewelry.<br \/>\nThailand is famous for its&#8217; tailor shops and there are hundreds and thousands of them&#8230;.We can highly recommend SAGA tailor with the perfect location by the Clock tower.<br \/>\nGood quality and great service&#8230;.I&#8217;ve known them since 1994 and still as good \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-2xwcnbEJcbw\/Uoz4xjgyf7I\/AAAAAAAAAc8\/QJ5CjlzP90Q\/s1600\/P1020322.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/livelovelaugh.dk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/P1020322-1.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Unfortunately we missed the Hutsadin Elephant Foundation&#8230; http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.dk\/ShowUserReviews-g297922-d2038063-r123429187-Hutsadin_Elephant_Foundation-Hua_Hin_Prachuap_Khiri_Khan_Province.html<br \/>\nWe only heard good things about it and will visit next time!<\/p>\n<p>We ended (by mistake) at the Hua Hin Safari &amp; Adventure Park, which was a HUGE mistake as this place was awful &#8211; and daylight robbery!
