We recently spent 4 nights at this amazing beach hotel in Dubai,\u00a0Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

I seriously don’t know how to describe it properly as no words, not even superlatives, seem to be enough.
\nImagine you’re part of an Arabian adventure, in a beautiful palace, in\u00a0beautiful surroundings, plenty of gorgeous food and on top of all this, hotel staff that provides you with the highest quality of service there is. At all times.
\nDuring our stay, despite the size of the hotel (443 rooms), I was truly amazed\u00a0by the service and I never felt like I was just 1 guest out of many at the hotel. In fact, I felt like I was actually The Princess of the palace every time I was in contact with any member of staff, be it the concierge, the front desk, the restaurants, the room steward, the doormen…<\/p>\n

From the moment you enter the hotel, you know you’re about to experience something very, very special. You also fully understand, why this hotel was chosen to be\u00a0an Indian palace in the movie, “Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol”. They couldn’t have chosen a better location for the\u00a0Indian party scene<\/a>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

We arrived in Dubai on the Emirates (the sector is served by an A380) direct flight from Copenhagen and arrived at the hotel at around 2 am.
\nWe were warmly welcomed by Mr. Amir, who made us feel so welcome and appreciated that we almost forgot just how tired we were… \ud83d\ude42
\nI had sent a wish to the hotel reg. a room allocation on a high floor and I must say that my wish was more than granted when Mr. Amir gave us the keycard to a room on the hotel’s 6th floor, the Imperial floor, where only suites are located.<\/p>\n

The Imperial floor<\/p><\/div>Our Imperial One Bedroom Suite<\/a> was absolutely stunning and big enough to please Royalty and I-feel-like-a-Princess <\/em>girls\u00a0like myself…
\nThe suite consisted of a guest toilet, a dining area, a sofa lounge area with a huge TV, a very spacious bedroom with another huge TV as well and an…. enormous<\/strong> bathroom where I was ridiculously (but truly) impressed by the bathtub. Or plunge pool. Or princess pond. I really don’t know which word to choose here…<\/p>\n

\nAnd when in Dubai, and in a palace, obviously almost everything from the water bottles to the sinks are in gold. So, what’s not to love here?
\nOur suite was facing Dubai Marina and the northern part of Jumeirah Beach.
\nThe hotel can also boost of an impressive beach area and a gorgeous pool as well.<\/p>\n

A small part of the balcony<\/p><\/div>We were not too lucky with the weather this time but can imagine just how wonderful the beach- and poolarea must be when the sun is out \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Despite the time of arrival, we were really hungry and decided that we were too lazy to go down to the Sultans Lounge<\/a>,\u00a0that offers light fare a’la carte until 3 am (great service!), and decided to opt for room service instead (24 hrs).
\nWe ordered a burger and some sushi and within less than 20 minutes, the meals were on the dining table in our suite.
\nBoth dishes were delicious and we couldn’t have asked for a better goodnight meal.<\/p>\n

The food at the hotel is amazing and there are several restaurants\u00a0to choose between. Great variety as the selection is very international.
\nOur package included\u00a0the\u00a0Jumeirah Flavours<\/a>\u00a0half board concept. You have breakfast +a choice\u00a0of lunch or dinner every day and you can choose amongst several restaurants at the hotel as well as in the other Jumeirah hotels and resorts in Dubai.
\nWe enjoyed our breakfast at the\u00a0Imperium Restaurant<\/a>\u00a0every morning and loved the outside terrace.
\nThe buffet options are endless and you also have the opportunity to order “special eggs” at the table, like Eggs Benedict – and they do them really well! I must say I also looooooved the waffles…
\nAnd no, I wasn’t on any sort of health trip or anything near it…. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

We also had dinner at the\u00a0Lebanese restaurant, Al Nafoorah<\/a>, the\u00a0Indian restaurant, Amala<\/a>, as well as the\u00a0steak house, The Rib Room<\/a>\u00a0.
\nIt’s not possible to tell which one of the three that was the best as they were all simply outstanding! Every single meal was made to perfection and service was immaculate and every single detail was paid attention to – including us.
\nFood is really authentic and the “Jumeirah flavours” offers a wide selection of dishes to choose between.
\nThe fact that the hotel is located a distance from restaurant areas makes the “Jumeirah Flavours” the obvious choice when you stay at this magnificent hotel, sorry, I meant (of course) palace.<\/p>\n

Al Nafoorah restaurant<\/p><\/div>The hotel is also home to the very famous and award winning\u00a0Talise Ottoman Spa<\/a>, which currently is the biggest spa in the Middle East.
\nUnfortunately the spa was fully booked during our stay so next time we visit, we’ll make sure we book treatments in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
\nIt looks gorgeous and if you can’t relax and enjoy true mindfulness here, then you probably can’t anywhere else.<\/p>\n

The entrance to the Talise Ottoman Spa<\/p><\/div>Despite the fact that this is a 5-star hotel (=Palace), you don’t necessarily have to dress up in a different gown or suits every night as the ambience and the atmosphere in the hotel still is kind of relaxed.
\nYou do wear smart casual attire during evening time (or elegant attire should you wish so) but you never feel like you don’t fit in cause you’re just your lovely self in your holiday-relaxed-kind-of-mood. And the service…. at all times….no matter what time of the day, with or without make-up, in stilettos or flip flops…. is just exceptional!
\nHaving stayed in many great hotels around the world, this is definitely amongst the very best service we ever got.<\/p>\n

We booked this trip online\u00a0with\u00a0Apollo<\/a>\u00a0, who offers this lovely hotel with a choice of 3, 7 or 14 nights, incl. the Jumeirah Flavours dine around concept.<\/p>\n

We will definitely return to this lovely p(a)lace, sooner than later.
